You are automatically covered by our Worldwide Travel Insurance and Identity Theft Protection when you open your account but need to activate the following protection for your cover to start:

Your insurance will remain active as long as you are a UK resident and you continue to pay the monthly Citibank Plus Account fee. Individual terms and conditions apply to each of the policies.

Worldwide Annual Holiday Insurance

This insurance is active the moment you open your Citibank Plus Account and covers you and your partner for up to 90 days travel worldwide (subject to a maximum trip duration of 30 days) per annum.

Mobile Phone Insurance

You need to register your mobile phone for this cover to start. When you register your phone you will be asked for your phone make and model, as well as your IMEI serial number, which identifies the handset. You can find your IMEI on the inside of the battery case or by entering *#06# in your handset.

If you want to transfer your insurance to another phone (including when you change/ upgrade your existing phone) you will need to contact the insurer to ensure cover continues.
