How do I register for Citi Cards Online?
It's easy to register for Citi Cards Online. All you will need is your 16-digit Citi Credit Card number. Either click to the Sign On page from www.citibank.co.uk and on the Sign On page choose the link:
'Not an existing user? Click here for the registration page to setup your account'
or select the 'Register now' link on any of the pages in the Credit Cards section.
We ask for your name, date of birth, post code, and Citi Credit Card number to confirm that we know who you are. Your name should be as it appears on the top left of your statement. The format for your date of birth should be DD/MM/YYYY. Your postcode should have a space - e.g. M20 8HL
You then choose a User Name, Password, and a Log-in key. You choose all 3 of these yourself so choose something that is easy to remember but not easy to guess.
Your new Password:
a) must be at least 6 characters
b) must include at least 1 number and 1 letter, and 1 capital letter
c) must not have more than two consecutive identical characters e.g. aaa or 222
d) cannot begin or end with a space
e) should not be the same, or similar to, your User Name
We also ask you to select a Memorable Question and provide an answer to it - you only need this if you need to reset your Password so make sure it is something that you will easily remember. The final stage is to call Card Services on 0870 908 6000* (+44 20 7477 2645 from outside the UK) as a final security check with the number that is shown on the screen as you register. Then you're done - you can Sign on to Citi Cards Online right away.

How do I Sign On to Citi Cards Online?
To Sign On to Citi Cards Online we ask for the 3 items that you set up at registration: User Name, Password, and Log-in Key.

What if I forget my User Name, Password, or Log-in key?
Click to the Sign On page from www.citibank.co.uk and from the Sign On page select 'Click here if you have forgotten your User name, Password or Log-on Key'.
We then ask for your card number, date of birth, and the answer to the Memorable Question you selected at registration and you can then select a new User name, Password, or Log-in key as appropriate. If you have forgotten all 3 then we need you to Register as shown above.

What if I forget the answer to my Memorable Question?
If you are trying to reset your User Name, Password, or Log-in key then you need to be able to provide the answer to the Memorable Question you chose when you registered for the first time. If you cannot remember this then from the Sign On page select 'Click here if you have forgotten your User name, Password or Log-on Key'
Then choose the option 'Forgot All Your Sign On details?'. We will need you to re-register.

Why do I have to choose a User Name and Password?
Your User Name is chosen by and known only to you, unlike your Citi Cards Card number, which can be seen each time you perform a transaction (such as a purchase). To provide even more security we also ask for a Password and a random selection of 3 digits from 6 of your Log-in key.

Are there any charges to use the service?
No. There are no software, service or set up fees. All you have to pay for, if applicable, is the cost of connecting to the Internet.

Anytime you like. It's available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week (although some transactions may not be available during system updates).

Can I see my statements online?
Yes - if you currently receive a paper statement then in Citi Cards Online by selecting 'Your Services' and then 'Manage Statements' you can switch to an online PDF statement. We also send you an email reminder so you don't have to remember when the statement is available. Find out more.

Can I use Citi Cards Online with personal finance software or MicrosoftTM Excel?
Your recent transactions can be downloaded either in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format or as a MicrosoftTM Excel file.
We recommend you download your transactions at the end of the statement period to obtain all the data for that month.
You cannot download transactions once they appear on the online PDF statement.

Am I the only person who can access my account?
The only way to access your account information is with your Citi Cards Online User Name, Password, and Log-in key. This is why it is crucial not to let anyone else know these details - and not to write them down, especially on your Citi Credit Card or computer! If you think someone may know them, please call Card Services immediately on 0870 908 6000* (+44 20 7477 2645 from outside the UK).
