What we do...
- Ask you to only enter your Citibank Card number and e-PIN when you register for Citibank Online in order to obtain a User Name and Password. From then on you will only be asked to use your User Name and Password to Sign On.
- Ask you to enter your mother's maiden name only when you open a new account.
- Send you emails with links to features such as online tours and information or promotions about Citibank products and services. These links are for your convenience and you can always type our URL directly.
- Allow you to sign up for banking alerts that you'll receive regularly about various transactions in your account.
- Notify you by email when there's a message waiting for you in your Citibank Online inbox.
What we don't do...
- Send urgent or time-sensitive emails or ones that ask you to provide, update or confirm sensitive data like your Citibank card number, e-PIN, User Name and Password, ATM PIN, t-PIN, account number, credit card number or expiry date, or mother's maiden name.
- Require you to enter anything other than your Citibank Card number and e-PIN when registering for Citibank Online, and subsequently anything other than your User Name and Password to sign on to Citibank Online.
- Send you an email that tells you to provide personal information because it's for your own security.
- Send you an email with input fields that ask you for sensitive information.
