Case study

John is an American citizen who works in London for a British bank. His salary, paid in Sterling, is deposited directly into his Citigold Current Account. John plans to further his career in the UK before returning to the US to raise a family in a few years time.

John's Citigold Relationship Manager recently introduced him to the complimentary concierge service he receives with his Citigold Current Account. This allows him to get involved in some of the best that London has to offer including access to the most popular restaurants, theatres and exclusive events. A Citibank Flexible Saver Account Issue 8 means John earns a high rate of interest on his surplus pounds while he's here as he still wants to save money even though he's abroad. For travelling around Europe, John uses a Citibank Euro Current Account, which allows him to withdraw Euros from Citibank ATMs and make debit card purchases in Euros free of any Citibank charges.1

John maintains his existing Citibank accounts in the US and using Citibank Global Transfers he transfers funds from the UK to the US online in real time with no fees.2
