Citibank Global Transfers

How it works:

• Citibank Global Transfers are available to these destinations worldwide.
  • Available via Citibank Online or at Citibank ATMs in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Spain, and the UK.
  • If the transfer is made across currencies, a Citibank exchange rate will be applied.
• You can send up to £10,000 in Sterling or currency equivalent across borders everyday (subject to individual country laws).
• Funds are debited from your account immediately and available to use in the recipient's account straight away.

• If you hold Citibank accounts in more than one country, Citibank Global Transfers are the easy way to manage your money across borders.
• If you need to send funds to a country not served by Citibank Global Transfers, use our SWIFT funds transfer service instead.

How to use Citibank Global Transfers

• If you are transferring money to a new payee, please choose "Add a payee for new or one off transfers" choosing the type of payee as "A Citibank customer in another country". Choose the country that the account is located in and fill in the payee and account details as required.
• After you have set up your new payee or you are transferring funds to an existing payee, under the "Transfers & Payments" section of Citibank Online, choose the "Transfer to a Citibank account abroad (Existing Payee)" link
• Choose the account from which you'd like to transfer funds, then select the Citibank account holder abroad to whom you would like to send the funds.
• Enter the amount you would like to transfer.
• Confirm the details of the transaction, enter your e-PIN, click next and the transaction will be completed.
