Important information

Citi Accounts are only available to UK residents. If you are not currently living in the UK, we regret that we will not be able to offer you one of these accounts.

1. Customers must have or open a Citi transaction account in the same currency as a Citi Time Deposit.

2. Citi ATMs are located in selected countries only. View a full list of the location of Citi ATMs worldwide. Fees may apply at non-Citi ATMs and for withdrawals where the currency withdrawn does not correspond to the currency of the account or is not the local currency of the country in which the withdrawal takes place. Citi exchange rates apply to transactions across currencies.

3. Citi Global Transfers have no transaction fees however the Citi UK reference exchange rate will be applied if the transfer is made across currencies. This exchange rate will be confirmed before the transaction is carried out. The maximum daily cross border transfer amount is 50,000 in Sterling or in the currency of the recipient account. In certain destinations, other limits exist. Transfers between UK Citi accounts, have a daily limit of £250,000 (or currency equivalent). In certain circumstances, Citi will contact customers to confirm a request before processing it. This is to maintain the security of the account and to protect the interest of customers.
