Citibank Accounts are only available to UK residents. If you are not currently living in the UK, we regret that we will not be able to offer you one of these accounts.

1. Customers must have or open a Citibank transaction account in the same currency as a Citibank Time Deposit.

2. Citibank ATMs are located in selected countries only. View a full list of the location of Citibank ATMs worldwide. Fees may apply at non-Citibank ATMs and for withdrawals where the currency withdrawn does not correspond to the currency of the account or is not the local currency of the country in which the withdrawal takes place. Citibank exchange rates apply to transactions across currencies.

3. Citibank Global Transfers have no transaction fees however a Citibank exchange rate will be applied if the transfer is made across currencies. This exchange rate will be confirmed before the transaction is carried out. The maximum daily cross border transfer amount is £10,000 in Sterling or in the currency of the recipient account. In certain destinations, other limits exist. Transfers between UK Citibank accounts, have a daily limit of £250,000 (or currency equivalent). In certain circumstances, Citibank will contact customers to confirm a request before processing it. This is to maintain the security of the account and to protect the interest of customers.
