Transfer an ISA

Investment ISA

Let us help you find the right Citi Investment ISA for you and your goals.

Transfer an existing ISA

If you already have a Cash or Investment ISA with another provider you can transfer it into a Citi Investment ISA and we will not charge you a fee. Your can transfer an existing ISA from the current tax year or a previous tax year.

Reasons to consolidate
In addition to benefiting from the Citi Investment ISAs great features, placing your investments with one provider could make managing your investments easier and more convenient.

One place for your investments
When it comes to getting an accurate view of your investments, seeing the big picture is key. With all your holdings on one regular valuation statement you're in control and analysing your portfolio's performance becomes quick and easy.

Flexible way to manage your investment strategy
It's natural for investment objectives or your attitude to risk to change over time. Important life events often create new financial needs that, in turn, could impact your investment strategy. With all your investments in one place, it's easy to introduce changes to your investment plan, whilst at the same time ensuring the asset mix remains optimised.

And if you require investment advice
Holding your investments under one roof means you could receive holistic investment advice from the company you choose to invest with. As your Investment Consultant has an overall view of all your assets, their advice can take into account the composition of your existing investment portfolio. And with one provider, there are fewer processes to control, less paperwork and completing your tax return is made simpler and easier.

Citi will not charge you to transfer your ISA, but you should check with your existing provider if they apply a charge.

If you transfer your existing ISA to us from another ISA manager your investment will be transferred as cash, therefore your investment amount will be out of the market for a period of time. During this time the market may move up or down, resulting in potential loss of growth and/or income.

If you request us to return the money to you or we do this because we have not received your instructions, this will result in a loss of the tax advantages relating to holding those proceeds in an ISA.

Transferring your investments to us is quick and easy.

Important Information
An initial charge of 2% along with an Annual Management Charge of 1.25%, 1.35%, or 1.50% (depending on the fund) will apply to these funds. Due to the structure of Multi-Manager Funds they may carry higher costs than single funds. Investments are not bank deposits, and are neither obligations of, nor guaranteed by, Citigroup, or any of its affiliates. They are subject to investment risks, including possible loss of the principal amount invested. Past performance is not indicative of future results; investments can go down as well as up. This means you might get back less than you invested. Stock market investments should be viewed as a medium-term to long-term investment (at least five years). Favourable tax treatment of ISAs may not be maintained in the future if law and HM Revenue and Customs practice change. The value of the tax treatment described depends on individual circumstances. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of this investment, we recommend that you speak with one of our qualified Investment Consultants. Call us on 0800 008800. A charge may apply for investment advice.
